Brenda L. Hunter
Recently retired from her role as Director of Education of the Limestone District School Board, Brenda Hunter has thirty-four years of experience in the field of public education. During her career she served as teacher, Principal and Superintendent of Human Resources, along with her recent Director role with the board.
Additional leadership roles include Chair of the Council of Ontario English Public Directors of Education, and member of the Ontario Public Schools’ Association Bargaining Advisory Group. She has been a board member with the United Way of Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington, and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Kingston Community Health Centre.
Hunter holds Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Education and Master of Education degrees from Queen’s University, as well as various professional qualifications. She has a large family and lives in the village of Sydenham with her husband.
