Bruce Lounsbury is the founder and former CEO of the Newterra Environmental Group, a leader in the design and manufacture of modular water and wastewater treatment systems with operations in Canada, the United States, Europe and South America. Under his direction, Newterra grew from a start-up in Brockville, ON to a global company with more than 250 employees and eight operating locations worldwide. In 2015, Mr. Lounsbury stepped down as CEO and joined XPV Water Partners, a growth equity investment firm that focusses on water related investments, as Executive in Residence, assisting in new investment opportunities.
Lounsbury has served on the boards of numerous organizations, including as the President of the United Way of Leeds and Grenville, Chair of the United Way of Ontario and Vice-Chair of the St. Lawrence College Board of Governors. He has also served on the board of Brockville General Hospital.
Lounsbury holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University and a Masters in Management Science from Carleton University.
