Elizabeth began at the Hotel Dieu Hospital site in 1997 and was the Chief of Public Relations & Community Engagement until March 31, 2017. Her portfolio included Public Relations and Engagement; KidsInclusive Centre for Child & Youth Development; Detox Centre; Ininew Patient Services; Volunteer Resources and Volunteer Food Services; and Spiritual Health, Mission & Ethics. She also held strategic responsibility for the patient experience advisor program and for French language services.
She is a Certified Health Executive (CHE) with a Master of Arts degree from the University of Guelph. She is a graduate of the Health Services Management program through the Canadian Healthcare Association and the Advanced Health Leadership Program through the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
Elizabeth is a Past Chair of both the Healthcare Reciprocal of Canada (HIROC) and of the United Way of Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington. She has also served as a distance education consultant and faculty with the Canadian Healthcare Association’s health services management, risk management and modern management programs.
