KGH adopted a new five-year strategy on June 16, 2010 to move to a position of strength and influence among Canada’s acute-care teaching and research hospitals. KGH 2015: Strategy for achieving Outstanding Care, Always sets out four major strategic directions to position KGH as a top performer.  

More than 2,000 internal and external stakeholders participated in the consultation process that informed KGH’s strategy. Launched at KGH’s annual general meeting, the strategy presents a compelling vision of KGH as a patient-centred, dynamic research hospital and leader in interprofessional practice and education.
