Visitor Pass for Research Related Activities
Whenever a visitor is on site at the Hospital and is required to be on site for research-related visits(i.e. pharmaceutical monitors/sales representatives for industry-sponsored clinical trials, the researcher or research staff must notify the Office of Health Sciences Research in advance of the visit to obtain a Visitor Pass by contacting Mary Pope at (613) 549-6666, ext. 3344 or popem@kgh.kari.net.
Upon notification of the date(s) and name(s) of the individual (s) attending the visit, the Office of Health Sciences Research will send an email to the Security Office authorizing the visit(s) so that the visitor(s) can obtain a Visitor Pass in order to access the Hospital. On the day of the visit, the individual must report to the Security Desk in the front lobby to obtain their Visitor Pass prior to entry into the Hospital and meeting with researchers and/or research staff.
