Endocrinology and metabolism

We deliver a full range of consultative specialty endocrine care to the population of southeastern Ontario including Moose Factory and its surrounding region.

Consultative services in the investigation and management of patients with a variety of endocrinology and metabolism diseases include:

• Diabetes mellitus (types 1, 2 and gestational)

• Hypoglycemia

• Lipid and calcium disorders

• Hypertension

• Obesity

• Disorders of the pituitary and thyroid (including thyroid cancer)

• Adrenal diseases

• Gonadal diseases (including male reproductive disorders and the andropause)

 We provide outpatient care services through a variety of multidisciplinary clinics held at KGH and Hotel Dieu Hospital.
