KGH Auxiliary membership

Membership to the Kingston General Hospital Auxiliary remains critical to the success of the organization.  As a member, you will:

• become part of a group that raises and donates money/equipment to the hospital
• make social contacts with people from all walks of life and enjoy the camaraderie of special people
• have the opportunity to take an active role in Auxiliary affairs, including a leadership role if desired, thereby gaining a wider life experience and furthering one’s own education & knowledge
• have the opportunity to better understand healthcare and policy changes in the hospital (The Auxiliary holds a seat on the KGH Quality of Patient Care Committee and has regular meetings with Senior Administration)
• receive the Auxiliary newsletter 6 times a year which provides updates on current events and services as well as useful information regarding healthcare
• be able to participate in bus trips for personal enjoyment and broadening one’s experience of the area and the arts
• have the opportunity to attend general meeting luncheons with informational speakers and presentations
• have the opportunity to participate in HAAO meetings, conventions and educational sessions

Fees

In order to encourage new members to join our organization, the membership fee for the first year, or part thereof, is free.  After the first year, the fees are as follows:

Life Membership:  $150.00
Annual Fee (due April 1st)   $15.00
