Year-Round Opportunities (for senior level high school students)
Kingston General Hospital does not provide learning placements for secondary school co-op placement but does have year round opportunities for senior level students who would like to gain hospital related experience.

Café Host (year-round for all high school grades) 
If you’re looking for valuable work experience in a busy customer service setting, you may want to consider volunteering at the Kingston General Hospital Auxiliary Café. You need to be self-motivated, hard-working and able to commit to one shift each week on a Saturday or Sunday.  Weekday shifts are also available during the summer months.

Volunteering at KGH requires a personal desire to make a commitment.
 
We are looking for young people who are comfortable spending time with both seniors and children, that like to get involved in activities and that can share their enthusiasm with others.
