J’Neene originally joined the Kingston General Hospital (KGH) site in March 2009.  In her role as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the new Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC) she is responsible for providing the overall direction for the hospital’s financial assets and liabilities associated with its approximate $490 million operating budget and $22 million capital budget.  J’Neene’s leadership portfolio at KHSC includes Nutrition Services, Protection Services, Materials Management, and Risk Management. J’Neene also provides oversight to insurance, legal and business development activities. 

J’Neene’s previous healthcare system experience includes The Hospital for Sick Children and West Park Healthcare Centre.  Other industry experience includes non-profit, manufacturing, retail, and entertainment including employment with Imperial Oil and Viacom Inc.

J’Neene is on the board of the Kingston General Health Research Institute, serving as Treasurer.  She serves on the Investment Committee of the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation, which supports the fundraising activities for the two hospitals in Kingston.  She regularly interfaces with the KGH Auxiliary which promotes and extends the interests of the Kingston General Hospital site throughout the city and surrounding counties.  J’Neene is a past board member for 3SO, the shared service organization supporting the seven hospitals in the South East LHIN. 

J’Neene is a senior financial professional, possessing a Chartered Professional Accountants accreditation (CGA designation), and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland.  J’Neene obtained the Audit Committee Certified (A.C.C.) designation from The Directors College (a joint venture of McMaster University and The Conference Board of Canada) in 2016.
