How to contact us

The media is asked to contact the KGH Public Affairs Department in order to facilitate:

  • Patient condition updates
  • Interviews with patients and/or families
  • Interviews with physicians, staff, volunteers and students
  • Hospital access
  • Audio or video recording, filming or photography on hospital property

Urgent media requests

The KGH Public Affairs Department is available to the media 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

In general, media inquiries during office hours (8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday) should be directed to one of the public affairs specialists listed below. Our office is located on Nickle 2.

For urgent requests, staff call the KGH switchboard at 613-548-3232 and have the Public Affairs Representative on call paged.

Public Affairs will take every effort to provide requested information prior to the media's deadline.
