Hospital Access

• The media is required to contact Public Affairs before coming onto hospital property.
• Media must be escorted at all times while on hospital property by a member of Public Affairs, Security and Life Safety or individuals designated by Public Affairs.
• The media must notify Public Affairs before interviewing, photographing, audio or video recording or filming a KGH patient. Written patient consent, obtained by Public Affairs, is required.
• The media must obtain verbal consent from KGH physicians, staff, volunteers and students before interviewing, photographing, audio or video recording or filming them can occur.
• The media must wear proper identification of their employer while on hospital property.
• The media must adhere to hospital policies and procedures while on hospital property.
