Mental Health Care

Mental health is a state of well-being where you feel capable of working through the situations of everyday life. When you are not feeling mentally healthy, everyday activities can become more challenging.

At KGH, we provide inpatient and outpatient care to the adults, children and teens who need help dealing with their mental health issues. Individuals who have experienced mental illness have called their recovery a personal journey rather than an outcome. It is important to remember that each person’s experience is different.

As much as possible, we will work together to help patients make choices about the services, treatments, and supports that are right for them. KGH provides the following supports:

  • Inpatient Services - Adult Psychiatry - assessment and treatment of patients who are 18 years and older.  Child and Adolescent Psychiatry - assessment and treatment of patients between the ages of 6 to 17.

  • Outpatient Services - Changing Minds (Intensive Transitional Treatment Program) - an outpatient mental health program providing support through group and one-on-one sessions for individuals 18 years and older.
